James K. Leese is Recognized as Estate Planning Specialist in California

Leese, Attorney and Senior Partner of Ferruzzo & Ferruzzo, LLP, was recently recognized by Worldwide Registry for his many years of service, dedication, leadership and excellence in the area of estate planning, trust and probate law.

Mr. Leese is responsible for maintaining the firm's expanding estate and business succession planning departments, that caters to individuals and business owners.

Since 1994, Mr. Leese has taught a course entitled "Fundamentals of Estate Planning" in the Personal Financial Planning Certificate Program at the University of California at Irvine Extension. During his career there, he developed course materials and taught a course in that program entitled "Advanced Estate Planning for Financial Professionals" and a course entitled "Estate Planning for Laypersons." Mr. Leese attributes his business success to his professional relationships with others in his community that has grown out of teaching and from client referrals. Mr. Leese is the holder of a Master of Science in taxation from Golden Gate University, a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in political science from The Defiance College. Furthermore, Mr. Leese is a certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law in the State of California.

Recognized by other professional organizations as well for his excellence, Mr. Leese has been named a Five Star Wealth Manager in Estate Planning every year by Orange Coast Magazine since 2009. Additionally, he was named a Super Lawyer in Southern California in Estate Planning and Probate for 2007 to 2011 and in 2014, and has been named as an AV Rated Attorney through Martindale-Hubbell for more than 15 years running.
