David A. Greuner MD, FACS, FICS, Recognized as a Leading Authority on Endovascular and Cardiovascular Surgery

    NEW YORK, NY, December 10, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. David Anthony Greuner, managing director and co-founder of NYC Surgical Associates, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in minimally invasive and cardiovascular surgery.

An industry pioneer, Dr. Greuner is an authority on endovascular and cardiovascular surgery, as well as thoracic and vascular surgery. His clinical interests include lung, mitral valve and venous thrombosis, as well as varicose veins, arteriosclerosis, angiography and hyperhidrosis. Dr. Greuner is particularly knowledgeable regarding minimally invasive procedures and minimal access/robotic surgery, which include procedures that require the Da Vinci robot and percutaneous access. In addition to these techniques, Dr. Greuner developed procedures including the No-Knife EVLT, a surgical practice that has won acclaim in the medical community.

Dr. Greuner holds more than 13 years' experience and is a double board certified surgeon. He completed a fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2011 and a residency in general surgery through the Atlantic Health System. He completed fellowship training in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery and a residency in general surgery at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. Dr. Greuner earned a medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in 2002 and a Bachelor of Science in biology and economics from Baylor University in 1997.

Widely recognized amongst the medical community, Dr. Greuner had earned numerous accolades for his contributions to the health care field. He was named a Top Surgeon by the Consumers Research Council of America from 2010 to 2013, and was honored as a Vitals Top 10 Doctor by State.
