BREMEN, GA, December 14, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mill Town Music Hall is proud to host Bluegrass Hall of Fame musician Doyle Lawson and his band Quicksilver on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at 7 p.m. Judge Talford will open the concert with their unique sound of bluegrass instrumental and rich vocal harmonies. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on wholesome, family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
Doyle Lawson and his band Quicksilver have multiple Grammy, Dove, ICM, IBMA and SPBGMA Award nominations to their credit and have produced nearly 40 albums. In addition, Lawson is the reigning SPBGMA Mandolin Player of the Year, seven-time recipient of the IBMA Vocal Group of the Year and was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in September 2012. He has been called the 'mandolin virtuoso' with 'perfectly silken harmony' by the New York Times.
