David J. Miclean Celebrates 10 Years as a "Top Lawyer" in Northern California

Drawing on more than three decades of experience, Mr. Miclean is a practiced expert in intellectual property and civil commercial litigation, technology law, trademarks, lawsuit avoidance and trial work. He has successfully tried or arbitrated more than 60 cases before federal and state courts and arbitration tribunals, and successfully handled more than 30 trade secret cases, including three he took to trial. An AV Preeminent Attorney, and Northern California Super Lawyer in Intellectual Property Litigation, Mr. Miclean is admitted to practice before federal courts in the northern, eastern, central and southern districts of California, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Miclean initially chose to pursue a career in law because he was a political science major in college, didn't want to teach, and had a talent for being able to argue well. To qualify him for his career, he received a JD from Loyola Law School in 1984. Mr. Miclean was recently inducted into the Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the San Mateo County Bar Association and San Francisco Bay Area Intellectual Property American Inn of Court. He recently celebrated 10 years as a Top Lawyer in Northern California.
