Marsha D. Bornt, MD, Honored for Excellence in Gynecology

    YORK, PA, December 18, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marsha D. Bornt, MD of Apple Hill Gynecology, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in gynecology.

Dr. Bornt has 43 years of professional experience, with 39 years as an MD of Apple Hill Gynecology.. Her patients are mostly working women and make up a community of supportive mother, daughter and aunt patient referrals. On a daily basis, Dr. Bornt offers a personal, unhurried approach to women's health including endometriosis, infertility and abnormal bleeding.

Looking back, Dr. Bornt became involved in her profession because she was drawn to do mission work around the world in developing nations, as well as to do work that involved caring for women. Even today, she regularly visits Ghana on medical mission trips.

Dr. Bornt received an MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Maryland. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the York County Medical Society, the Pennsylvania State Medical Society and Building Solid Foundations.She is active in the Rotary Club of York and will be the president in 2016. In 2013, she received a Top 10 Doctors Award, and she has been honored with Patient Choice Awards in 2008, 2009 and 2011. In the coming years, Dr. Bornt will be happy with the practice where it is now, looking for growth here and overseas on her mission trips.
