Fashion Model Angelique Romano Announces Engagement Christmas Day

    NEW YORK, NY, December 28, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fashion model Angelique Romano, who is currently under contract with Poise International Modeling Agency in New York, announced on social media on Christmas Day, 2014 that she and boyfriend veterinarian Dr. Alex Barry are engaged. Those close to the couple knew the announcement was coming, they just weren't sure when it would be announced officially, and, the couple played it close to the vest even with their families. And, both families are said to be delighted with the news.

In a statement, Angelique Romano said "I knew Alex was 'the one' the day we met. I can't explain it, and, it wasn't a lightening bolt or any of that other stuff people associate with "love at first sight". Romano continued to say "it was like I was coming home, and, I just "knew". When asked about wedding plans, the couple announced that they have signed a contract with premier NYC wedding planner Linda Galloway, and, that they are looking at dates in 2016.

When asked about the engagement, husband to be, Alex Barry said that "we know we're getting engaged relatively fast. We've only been dating for four months, however, we both know we are right for each other, and, we're taking a long engagement to let things fall into place. I can't imagine my life without Angie, and, it wouldn't matter to me if we married tomorrow or 10 years from tomorrow. As long as we're together that's the part that counts!"

Romano assures that getting married is not going to effect her modeling career, and, that kids are a distant thought right now. She also said "while Alex and I do want a family, we're not going to rush it. We're young, and, we both have professional goals we want to achieve before entering into parenthood. So, ask me again in about five or six years, and, I'm sure the answer will be 'yes we're ready'.

Angelique's family is currently planning a large engagement party, and, when asked about the wedding, Romano said "we both have huge families, and, we're both Roman Catholic, so, that means we're going for the 'big' wedding with all the trimmings. You only get married once, and, we plan to do it right!"
