Jack C. Davis Recognized among Best Attorneys in Michigan

    LANSING, MI, December 31, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Attorney Jack C. Davis with Loomis Law Firm has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in law.

Drawing on more than five decades of experience, Mr. Davis is regarded as an expert in commercial transactions, real estate and corporate law. He represents a wide range of clients, including real estate developers and corporate clients. Mr. Davis also dedicates a considerable amount of time to making mid-Michigan a better place through his devotion to education, economic development and the arts.

Inspired to enter law because of his educational background, Mr. Davis served in the military for a year before pursuing a career in law. He received a Bachelor of Laws from Harvard University in 1964. Recently inducted into Worldwide Registry, Mr. Davis also maintains affiliation with the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, Lansing School District Board of Education, Ingham County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Michigan State Bar Foundation and ABA.

An AV Preeminent Attorney, Mr. Davis has served on several international delegations to advise government leaders on trade and international tax matters for the development of a free market economy. He authored the article entitled, "The Purposive Approach to Interpretation of Sales Tax Statutes," which was published in the Ohio State Law Journal in 1966. In 2014, he was honored with a local bar association award, and was named a Best Attorney in Michigan in 2013.
Dedicated to giving back to the community, Mr. Davis received the Outstanding Philanthropist Award from the Capital Region Community Foundation in 2012. In the coming years, Mr. Davis intends to become more involved with the real estate industry.
