"Our mission at the Agenda trade shows is to build our King Ice brand by raising awareness through sales leads and engage with other business owners," said co-founder Cuong Diep of King Ice.
LOS ANGELES, CA, January 01, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- King Ice, an online streetwear jeweler, will return to the Agenda trade show in January 2015. The fashion trade show will run for two days on January 5th and 6th at the Long Beach Convention Center. King Ice will be unveiling a new collection of custom 14k gold necklaces, rings, and bracelets featuring original designs. Styles will be available to order in limited quantities. This will be the company's fifth time showing at Agenda and has become the company's most significant event.
Agenda is a lifestyle fashion trade show where emerging brands have the opportunity to connect with specialized retailers. Agenda consists of three shows in Long Beach, New York city, and Las Vegas. Over one thousand brands converge at the show to partner with buyers, investors, distributors, and media. The company's first Agenda show as an exhibitor was in 2014. Dozens of buyers and retailers crowded the company's modest booth. Their first show resulted in negotiations with Tilly's, Karmaloop, Zumiez, DrJays, Zappos, Nordstrom, and Collective Status, among others, to bring King Ice jewelry to retail stores. So far King Ice jewelry has become a top seller with Zumiez, DrJays, and Collective Status. The Agenda trade show continues to be a vital component of the company's wholesale strategy.
"Our mission at the Agenda trade shows is to build our King Ice brand by raising awareness through sales leads, having a spectacular jewelry show, and through engaging with other business owners, sales reps, and bloggers at the show," said King Ice co-founder Cuong Diep.
There are many hidden rules for a successful trade show, like the presentation of the booth and the products, following up the sales lead right after the show, dress code, etc., but Diep stresses that: "The number one rule to the exhibitors is - don't be caught sitting busy on your phone or eating. Companies pay $8-10K for the show, and let's say your profit margin is 50%. It means you need take in orders more than 16-20K to break even. Hence, you got to be on your feet hustling, and rest later."
