Mr. Galumbeck brings 39 years of experience to his position as an attorney of Galumbeck, Dennis & Kegley, Attorneys. Throughout his career, he has practiced in the areas of criminal law, drunk driving offenses, traffic violations, domestic relations, federal and state practices, personal injury matters and civil rights cases. On a daily basis, he focuses his practice on family law and criminal law.
Mr. Galumbeck is a former Commonwealth's Attorney and a county attorney for Tazewell County, Virginia. Throughout his career, he has been admitted to practice in the state of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the western district of Virginia, and the Virginia Supreme Court. Mr. Galumbeck has been a contributor and lecturer for the 2008 Family Practitioners Guide to Trial Advocacy CLE course, the 2009 Annual Solo and Small Firm Law Practice Institute, the 28th Annual Family Law CLE for the National Center for Family Law 2009 State of the Family Conference, as well as Recent Updates in the Law for Driving While Intoxicated and Other Serious Traffic Offenses (CLE) for the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (2014).
Looking back, Mr. Galumbeck became involved in his profession because he has always had an interest in law. He enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of his clients.
Mr. Galumbeck received a JD from the Marshall-Wythe Law School of the College of William & Mary and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the Virginia State Bar. He has been honored as a Super Lawyer by "Virginia Super Lawyers" magazine from 2008-2009 and 2013-2015, and he was named as one of approximately 30 Leaders in the Law in the State of Virginia for 2012 by Virginia Lawyers Weekly.
