With many years of experience in her field, Dr. Peck is known for her expertise in all areas of endocrinology with emphasis on thyroid disease, parathyroid disease, osteoporosis/metabolic bone disease, menopause, PCOS, pituitary, adrenal, and obesity. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Peck is involved in clinical research projects in the areas of thyroid and osteoporosis. She also has a major teaching role of students, residents and endocrine fellows.
In her clinical practice Dr. Peck specializes in fine needle aspiration biopsy of thyroid nodules under ultrasound guidance, and has extensive experience with patients with thyroid cancer. Osteoporosis is also a large part of her clinical practice, and she has broad experience with patients on bisphosphonate therapy.
Recently inducted into Worldwide Registry, Dr. Peck attributes her success to picking a specialty she loves. She became involved in her profession because science was always her passion and the practice of endocrinology allowed her to combine her intellectual interest with her caring for patients.
Dr. Peck is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine, NYU Langone Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from the NYU School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology at Bellevue-NYU Medical Center.
Dr. Peck is a member of many professional organizations, including Endocrine Society, American Thyroid Association, American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and American Diabetes Association.
In five years, Dr. Peck intends to expand her endocrine practice, and continue her interests in clinical research and teaching.
