BREMEN, GA, January 18, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mill Town Music Hall welcomes back "The Queen of Bluegrass" Rhonda Vincent and iconic country vocalist Gene Watson on Friday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 pm. Concert goers will be entertained by two great vocalists singing from their own music collections, as well as from the successful album they recorded together in 2011, Your Money and My Good Looks. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on wholesome, family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
Opening the concert will be the junior and senior division champions, Caleb Hutchinson and Hunter Flanagan, from the BRIDGE Fest West Georgia SingOff competition held in Bremen last year.
With five Grammy nominations and seven consecutive wins as Female Vocalist of the Year from the IBMA, Vincent is one of the most awarded artists in bluegrass. Her music is known for incorporating savvy contemporary while pulling from traditional classical bluegrass. Vincent's latest release, Only Me, a two-disc combination project, was Billboards #1 CD for two consecutive weeks. The album includes six songs each of Bluegrass and Country. The song Busy City from the album was ranked 4th most played song, according to Bluegrass Today weekly airplay charts from last year. The song featuring Willie Nelson which is also title song, Only Me, was ranked 18th.
Known as "The Singer's Singer," Watson celebrated his golden anniversary in the country music industry in 2012. He released his first single at the age of 19. His album "The Best of the Best" is a 25-song collection of his re-recorded classic songs. Gene's ageless voice and desire to recreate the songs just as they first were recorded is evident in this album.
Tickets for Rhonda and Gene $35 for "premium reserved" and $30 for "reserved" in advance. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets through Ticket Alternative at 1-877-725-8849, online at the Mill Town Music Hall website (www.MillTownMusicHall.com) or at the Mill Town Music Hall box office.
