PureColor Welcomes Veteran Business Advisor and Investor to Board of Directors

    ALBUQUERQUE, NM, January 27, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- PureColor, a leading developer and manufacturer of eco-friendly stains announced today that Renee LaBran is their newest board member. Ms. LaBran brings over 25 years of experience as a Director, Business Advisor and Investor.

Most recently, Ms. LaBran co-founded and managed RC/Fontis, an investment fund providing expansion capital to consumer products companies. Prior to RC/Fontis, Ms. LaBran was a founding partner of Rustic Canyon Partners, an early stage venture capital fund focused on Internet, software and "green" technologies. Prior to the investment world, Ms. LaBran was an executive at Times Mirror managing a $300M business unit. She is also an entrepreneur having co-founded two Internet start-ups. Ms. LaBran began her post MBA career in management consulting with the Monitor Company, where she worked on strategy projects in the US and Europe across a variety of industries for large corporations.

She holds an MBA with honors from the Harvard Business School, and a BA in economics from UC Berkeley. She currently serves as a Director for Sambazon, Initiative Foods, and Preferred Brands Intl. Ms. LaBran is a member of Women Corporate Directors and the Women's Leadership Board at the Harvard Kennedy School, and is Past Board Chair for Hathaway - Sycamores Child & Family Services in Pasadena, CA.
