Rudi Deruytter Named Executive of the Year in Bank Operations Management

    WAREGEM, BELGIUM, January 27, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rudi Deruytter, Chief Executive Officer of CKV Bank, has been named a Worldwide Branding Executive of the Year in Bank Operations Management. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

Mr. Deruytter has 30 years of professional experience, having recently become the Chief Executive Officer of CKV Bank. As an expert in banking and finance, he is responsible for managing the daily operations of the bank, which plays an efficient role in the market of traditional savings and investment products for individuals in Belgium. In January 2012, Mr. Deruytter became the managing director and CEO of several companies within the "family office" of Dominiek Declerck, including NV Datex Financial Holding, NV Cefima, and NV Immo Desan. He is a financial banking expert with high organizational and human resources skills.

Looking back, Mr. Deruytter attributes his success to having strong leadership skills, as well as being a team leader and an optimist. He became involved in his profession due to his competitive nature. The highlight of his career was saving and restructuring the banks, ING, Kaupthing, Holding Communal, Dexia, and KBC after the fall of Lehman Brothers from 2008 to 2012.

Mr. Deruytter received a Master of Law from Ghent University, where he graduated with distinction. In addition to his degree, he has earned a compliance certificate, a certification in international banking and a designation as a professional negotiator. He is a member of EBG, GUBENA and Family Alliance Group. In years to come, Mr. Deruytter aims for revenue growth and market share in the same niche.
