NEW YORK, NY, January 31, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Young entrepreneurs are the catalysts to building and developing new businesses and without the ingenuity and passion of young entrepreneurs the business world would be a very different place claim sales and marketing experts New-York based Winmor USA. Young entrepreneurs are constantly breaking boundaries within the corporate world and have shown established businesses the world over that there are new and exciting ways of not only developing but also running a business in today's slightly unstable economic climate. By reaching success at an early age, the likes of Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg and Google's Larry Page and Sergey Brin were thought to have made the idea of entrepreneurship more accessible, however recent reports have suggested that despite the media attention received by young entrepreneurs, the number of young entrepreneurs starting new businesses in America has hit an all-time low.

The data collected by The Federal Reserve has revealed that America is currently losing young entrepreneurs at an alarming rate. The number of US households led by business owners under the age of 30 dropped to 3.6% in 2013, from 10.5% in 1989. The rate of young people starting businesses took a major knock during the recession and it would appear that despite a more favourable economy the majority of budding young entrepreneurs are still feeling the effects of the recession and are fearful of starting a business believing the associated risks to be too high.
Winmor USA are concerned by the Federal Reserve's findings and are worried that this drop in young entrepreneurship could have a detrimental effect on the US's recovering economy. The firm believe that in order for America to maintain economic vibrancy and for consumer confidence to continue to rise it's important for the country to have a constant flow of new start-ups emerging. By taking the plunge and starting new businesses young entrepreneurs are not only developing new working practices and encouraging creativity throughout the business world, they are also creating exciting new employment opportunities that are ideal for other young people who may be finding it difficult to find work with more established companies.
Winmor USA are choosing to remain optimistic despite the dramatic drop in young entrepreneurs. The firm's Managing Director Colin Moore believes there are a high number of ambitious young people in America that if given the right support will pursue business ownership. Winmor USA believe both businesses and colleges could do more to support and nurture budding entrepreneurs, the firm even run their own development programme to help teach potential entrepreneurs the vital skills needed to succeed in business. The firm would like to see more organisations follow the lead of those such as the Kauffman Foundation, who over the last 20 years have pushed to get entrepreneurship taught in over 2000 universities and colleges. The firm also believe that by taking a more interactive, project led approach to teaching entrepreneurship, young people will be far better prepared for the realities of business ownership and the real life challenges of a competitive marketplace.
