Mr. Mark has 28 years of experience in law and 22 years as an attorney with Mark & Burkhead Attorneys at Law, where he represents clients with his expertise in workers' compensation. Once he became an attorney, Mr. Mark knew he wanted to work with organized labor because he comes from a strong union family. His father, Robert Mark, left the farm to join the U.S. Navy and serve in Korea. Once out of the Navy, Robert spent his entire working career a union electrician for the Santa Fe Railroad. Keith is proud of his relationships with the organized labor community. In the course of his daily duties, he is tasked with representing the hard working members of organized labor unions. Keith believes in "working hard for working folks."
Keith earned his Juris Doctor from the Washburn University School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1986, and was admitted to practice in Kansas in 1986 and Missouri in 1993. He has been married for 29 years to Jeanne Magochy Mark, and they have three children: Zachary, Jacob and Anna. Keith holds a Martindale Hubbell AV Preeminent rating and has been named in the Cambridge's Who's Who, KC Magazine Top Attorneys, Kansas and Missouri Super Lawyers and The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains an affiliation with the Kansas and Missouri Bar Associations, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Wyandotte County Bar Association and the Johnson County Bar Association. Charitably, he sits on the board of directors of Big Game Forever, on the board of directors of The Outdoor Adventure Foundation and on the board of directors of a little league youth organization that he and his wife, Jeanne, founded, "The Little League Royals." He was inducted in 2013 to the 11th Annual Kansas City, Kansas Public School Reasons to Believe Honor Roll. Mr. Mark is affiliated and represents every major labor union in Kansas and Missouri. Mr. Mark also hosts and produces a TV show on the Outdoor Channel called "MacMillan River Adventures" (www.mrahunting.com). He has presented at the state and national level on the subject of conservation. Just recently, he was awarded the prestigious "Teddy Roosevelt Award" for his conservation efforts.
