Debra Robyn Maloney Recognized for Excellence in Specialized Cooking

    TERRANORA, AUSTRALIA, February 04, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Debra Robyn Maloney, Author, Speaker, and Consultant of My Gluten-Free Gourmet Kitchen, was recently named a VIP Member of Worldwide Branding. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Maloney has 28 years of experience, displaying expertise in cooking demonstrations, and consulting and educating about coeliac disease. She has conducted stage work of speaking and cooking demonstrations regarding life with coeliac disease. Her cookbook, "My Gluten-Free Gourmet Kitchen," is endorsed by the industry group Coeliac Australia. Additionally, Ms. Maloney is currently in pursuit of opening up a cooking school to provide recipes for gluten-free meals. She is also modifying recipes for people who are diabetic, lactose intolerant, low GI, high cholesterol, and on the FODMAP diet. She has been featured in a cover story in Food & Wine magazine.

In her current role of five years, Ms. Maloney has many duties, including sending out books, mentoring and communicating with people who need assistance. She advises young professionals entering their career to believe in themselves, be passionate about what they do, aim high, be thorough in their work and have a good support group. In the future, she plans to produce her own line of gluten-free foods.

Ms. Maloney has demonstrated her business diversity. She also has worked in the finance industry for 23 years, with 20 of them as a partner as a Better Living Homes builder. She also holds certificates in financial and insurance services.

Successful due to her experience, knowledge and passion for the industry of gluten-free foods, Ms. Maloney saw her career start because, as a coeliac, she thought that there was a good market for cookbooks. She discovered that the other books were disappointing, and took that as an opportunity to write her own. The highlight of her career is performing cooking demonstrations on stage. Another highlight that she has mentioned is her work with mothers of autistic children. Through her work with these women, Ms. Maloney has found that a gluten-free diet seems to help these children enormously.

Recently inducted into Worldwide Branding, Ms. Maloney also maintains affiliations with coeliac education groups in Australia, Ireland, Scotland, England, America and New Zealand.
