SANTA MONICA, CA, February 06, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- All students, from the youngest in the Early Kindergarten program to the oldest fifth graders, will take part in studying different countries and sharing their findings with the school. The younger students will work with their teachers to learn about a chosen country's geography, culture, popular cuisine, music, and much more. Older students will team up in pairs and choose a country to focus on. Then at the International Day event they will present their country, demonstrating traditional garb, food and culture.
"Being in an international community like Santa Monica, we feel it is important for our students to learn about different cultures around the world and this event gives them that opportunity," says Delphi's Head of School, Ellen Garrison.
The event will be held at the Delphi Academy of Santa Monica campus and is open to students' families as well as the general public.
