MILTON, MA, February 10, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Elementary school students at the Delphi Academy of Boston worked with the "Science from Scientists" organization to learn about engineering. The project involved building models out of Legos and adjusting for any design flaws.
Students in the Elementary and Lower schools at the Delphi Academy also participated in the annual science fairs in January. Each student had the opportunity to present their projects, along with their findings, to the rest of the school.
Hands-on projects such as these are an important part of the curriculum at the Delphi Academy. They offer students the opportunity to understand important subjects, such as science, with applications to the real world.
Delphi Academy of Boston is an independent, coeducational, non-sectarian day school offering a preschool through eighth grade program. Academics focus on providing students with a solid grounding in the basics, a rich and challenging hands-on curriculum and the ability to study purposefully and independently. Children may enroll as early as two years and nine months in the preschool program. To find out more visit http://www.delphiboston.org/.
