Annabell Torres, M.D., Strives to Provide Whole Patient Medical Care

    WINTER SPRINGS, FL, February 18, 2015, Annabell Torres, MD of Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health care.

Dr. Torres brings 14 years of professional experience to her role as a medical doctor of Florida Hospital Fish Memorial. As an expert in family medicine, she is able to review and address whole patient care. Many times, patients are referred to her office by friends and/or family members. This allows her to address socioeconomic and interpersonal relationships. Dr. Torres believes it's a privilege to regularly care for families, community groups, church member and leaders within her community.

Looking back, Dr. Torres became involved in the industry because she enjoys helping people. Dr. Torres shares a passion to care and influence patents' lives through her medical career. Dr. Torres received her Medical Doctor degree from Universidad Central del Caribe and a degree in biology from Universidad de Puerto Rico. In order to further enhance her ability to care for patients and motivate them on reaching healthy goals, she pursued further training. She is currently a Certified Wellness Coach, a certification offered by the American College of Sports Medicine. Current affiliations include being a member of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Medicine.

Recognizing the importance of giving back to others, Dr. Torres contributes to Shepherd's Hope and Reaching Out to Make A Difference. Looking ahead, she plans to assist more people and offer a fellowship in Integrated Medicine and Naturopathic Medicine to have a broader vision on health care.
