Arthur B. Vegh, MD, FAAAI, Honored for Excellence in Immunology

    TACOMA, WA, February 20, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Arthur B. Vegh, MD, FAAAI, Physician of Tacoma General Hospital, Allenmore Hospital, Saint Joseph's Hospital, and Saint Francis Hospital in Federal Way. He has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in immunology.

Dr. Vegh brings 28 years of medical experience to his position as a physician at the above hospitals. Throughout his career, he has established himself as an expert in allergies, immunology, asthma, diagnostic laboratory and dermatologic immunology services, and internal medicine. On a daily basis, he practices allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology.
Dr. Vegh has published papers, delivered presentations and conducted research about a wide range of medical topics for more than 20 years. He became involved in his profession because he enjoys taking care of people and solving puzzles.

Dr. Vegh completed a fellowship in allergies and immunology from The University of Iowa in 1989 and a residency in internal medicine through the University of South Dakota in 1986. He earned an MD from the University of Washington in 1983 and a Bachelor of Science in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Washington in 1977. In addition to his degrees and other educational qualifications, Dr. Vegh is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and was named as one of America's Top Physicians by the Consumers Research Council of America in 2014. He has also been recognized as a top doctor by U.S. News from 2012-2013. In years to come, Dr. Vegh intends to continue to serve his community.
