Stanley M. Hammerman Recognized as a Top Attorney in the Southwest in Business Litigation

    PHOENIX, AZ, February 23, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stanley M. Hammerman, Partner and Attorney with Hammerman & Hultgren, P.C. has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in law.

Drawing on nearly four decades of experience, Mr. Hammerman is regarded as an expert in commercial litigation, retail litigation and collection law. He prevailed in the 9th Circuit case of Terran v. Kaplan, a case that awarded attorneys' fees in favor of an attorney defending an overzealous Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claim. In addition to serving as an attorney, Mr. Hammerman speaks at seminars regarding collection law and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

To qualify him for his career, Mr. Hammerman received a JD from Ohio Northern University in 1974, and was admitted to practice in Arizona in 1975. He worked as an associate with a small law firm for two years before opening his own practice in 1977. Hammerman & Hultgren, P.C. was founded in 1987 when Jon Hultgren became a shareholder of the firm, which currently employs more than 40 people.

Recently inducted into Worldwide Registry, Mr. Hammerman also maintains affiliation with the Maricopa County Superior Court, State Bar of Arizona and United States District Court, District of Arizona. He was named a Top Attorney in the Southwest in Business Litigation in 2014, as well as a Southwest Super Lawyer from 2010 to 2014.
