HOUSTON, TX, February 25, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Digisonics, a leading provider of Structured Reporting Software Solutions, today announced that Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, Mass., will integrate the Digisonics Structured Reporting System for their OB/GYN, Vascular and General Ultrasound studies.
Users at Cambridge Health Alliance will also benefit from an added DigiSync interface with the facility's McKesson PACS. The interface launches the Digisonics structured reporting software directly from McKesson, allowing users to review images in the PACS system and simultaneously edit worksheets/reports in Digisonics. The interface allows the clinician complete all work from a single workstation with direct patient synchronization occurring in the background, streamlining their workflow and optimizing their time.
DataLink interfaces will facilitate connectivity between the Digisonics Structured reporting System and the facilities' Philips, Siemens, and GE ultrasound machines. Patient demographics and measurements will be autopopulated directly into the Digisonics ultrasound report, saving valuable data entry time and eliminating possible input errors. An HL7 interface for Orders In, between the facility's Meditech EMR and the Digisonics structured reporting system will facilitate a fully electronic workflow. A Report-to-PACS interface will export a PDF copy of finalized ultrasound reports for viewing in the facility's McKesson PACS system. As a result of the seamless integration between Digisonics and the incumbent systems, Cambridge Health Alliance will create an efficient reporting workflow for their ultrasound studies with improved turnaround times and overall accuracy.
