Hound Entertainment Group Builds Food Hound Division

    BETHPAGE, NY, February 26, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hound Comics, Inc. (Hound Entertainment Group), the company known for their eclectic assortment of comics, such as Brimstone and The Borderhounds, has signed a licensing agreement with candy manufacturer, Nifty Candy.

Through this new agreement, Hound licenses will be transformed into candied creations that will include the flagship brands Brimstone and Luscious, as well as other fan favorite titles including The Infected, Summons, The Revival, and Wages of Sin. This partnership builds upon Hound's well established Food Hound Division that already includes branded cookies (Butterwinks), Brimstone branded Beef Jerky (The Jerky Connection) and a full line of award-winning sauces and seasonings (CaJohn's Fiery Foods).

The diverse selection of the aforementioned sauces are expertly manufactured by CaJohn's Fiery Foods; however the flavor profiles were designed with the assistance of Hound CEO, William 'Brimstone' Kucmierowski and Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal (Guns 'N Roses) with the guidance of Chef Steve Lawrence and the Godfather of hot sauce, John 'CaJohn' Hard. The combined line boasts sixteen products that have won over ten first place awards collectively across the United States in all the 'saucy cities' and offers a range of flavors from sweet and savory to mouth-scorching hot. Brimstone's Awesomesauce offers a burst of teriyaki infused with sweet pineapple while Bumblefoot's Bumblef**ked weighs in at a staggering 6.5 million on the Scoville scale and is sure to provide extreme heat without sacrificing flavor. The seasonings offer the same variety of unique offerings including, Ya' Bacon Me Crazy; its blend of bacon and smoky mesquite flavor is sure to satiate every foodie's bacon needs while red pepper flakes, cumin, turbinado sugar, and subtle hints of coffee complete the savory blend of Brimstone: Grindhouse.

Due to the rising popularity of the branded food products, Hound Publishing Division is looking to reboot their popular all chicken cookbook, The Big Fat Book of Luscious Chicken, and is currently seeking celebrity chefs looking to produce their own cookbooks. Food Hound: Tidbits, a countrywide celebrity-based restaurant review series, completes Hound's current food division.
