Tanya Mays-Jeune, MD, Receives the Patients' Choice Award

With 15 years of invaluable contributions to the health care field, Dr. Mays-Jeune has achieved professional success with Serenity Wellness Medical Day Spa, a facility that provides gynecology care, reflexology services, dermabrasion and deep tissue massage. Additionally, the spa provides pregnancy massage and myofascial release. Proficient in advanced laparoscopies, hormonal counseling, minimally-invasive surgeries and female reproduction, Dr. Mays-Jeune remains responsible for treating gynecology patients and performing surgical procedures for those in need. Dr. Mays-Jeune moved from New York City to Columbia County more than 14 years ago, where she was the only female gynecologist for many years. A shining example of success in her field, Dr. Mays-Jeune continues to surpass her peers due to her experience and education, which includes a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from Barnard College-Columbia University and an MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After receiving her medical degree, she went on to complete a residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Inc., Dr. Mays-Jeune has recently been inducted into Worldwide Registry for her many achievements. An active member within her field, she is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the North American Menopause Society.
