    ATLANTA, GA, March 05, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Butler Wooten Cheeley & Peak LLP is proud to announce the addition of experienced attorney and University of Georgia graduate Robert ("Rob") Snyder. Rob graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2008. Following law school, Rob clerked for the Honorable Harold L. Murphy of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, then practiced at two highly regarded law firms in Atlanta. Rob is a creative lawyer with extensive experience in business torts, personal injury, and other areas of complex litigation.

While in law school, Rob served as editor-in-chief of the Georgia Journal of International & Comparative Law and as a board member of the Working In Public Interest Conference, an annual conference focused on lawyers working for social justice. Rob was a semifinalist in the Talmadge Moot Court competition and worked in the Western Circuit Public Defender's Office, representing indigent clients accused of crimes in Athens-Clarke County. Rob excelled in law school, graduating in the top 5 percent of his class and being inducted into the Order of the Coif.

As an attorney, Rob has distinguished himself in litigation, handling a diverse assortment of trials, including complex cases and appeals. He has substantial experience in arbitration and mediated disputes, serving the needs of individuals and businesses. The breadth and quality of his work have led his peers to grant him an AV Preeminent rating for his ethical standards and legal ability. Rob lives in Decatur with his wife, Melissa, and sons, Charlie and Jack.
