Dr. Alani has 33 years of experience in practice, and she has consistently worked to hone her skills in the area of cosmetic dentistry while focusing on patients' overall health and well-being. On a daily basis, she provides her patients with high-quality dental care.
Dr. Alani hosts a bi-monthly dental segment on Fox 26 morning news in Houston, and she has also educated the public with appearances on Channel 13 as well as Channel 11 news. When asked about what factors have led to her success, Dr. Alani notes simply that she loves her work, and that this shows itself in her treatment. She became involved in her profession because of her father's recommendation. She explains, "I was pre-med and wanted to be a trauma surgeon, but did not get into medical school. I studied environmental engineering in grad school, when women were not in engineering. He suggested dental school, and it was great for me."
Dr. Alani received a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas at Houston and a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Since 2006, she has regularly been named one of Houston's Top Dentists by H Texas Magazine, and she was honored as one of The City's Best Dentists. In years to come, Dr. Alani expects continued professional growth.
