The March 27th Geography Fair Promotes Diversity and Cultural Understanding at Delphi Academy of Boston

    MILTON, MA, March 11, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Delphi Academy of Boston will hold its annual Geography Fair on Friday, March 27th. To prepare for the Geography Fair, each classroom is transformed into its own individual country. The students choose the country and research all aspects of the unique culture.

The classroom presentations incorporate cultural attire, activities, food, and other activities that highlight the different elements of the chosen country.

Students are given the chance to travel the world in one day. By visiting each classroom, students expand their cultural understanding by witnessing the cultural artifacts present in the world around them. Not only does the Geography Fair promote cultural understanding, but it also is a driving factor in the knowledge and acceptance of diversity both near and far.

The Geography Fair is an opportunity for students to expand on their research and individual creativity while also gaining new insights into different world cultures. All elements of the Geography Fair link to a well-rounded curriculum.
