PryMarke, LLC Opens PryMarke Business Academy in Istanbul, Turkey

    ANN ARBOR, MI, March 12, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Today the executives of Michigan-based PryMarke, LLC announced the establishment of a Business Academy in Istanbul, Turkey. "We have recognized that university training in the country is often too heavily directed towards theory, so we are providing practical training in a variety of business functions," said Bryan Christiansen who has been PryMarke's Chairman since 2012 after founding the company in 2004 as its president.

The PryMarke Business Academy will offer 50-hour courses in Advertising, Business Planning, Export/Import Operations, Finance, International Business, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, and Public Relations to executives, managers, and select rank-and-file employees in middle-sized firms or larger throughout Turkey, although primarily those firms in Istanbul. The unique aspect of the training is that it will be held entirely in the English language. This will provide an additional benefit to learners beyond the project-based courses themselves.

"We have noticed there are several Business Academies in Istanbul and Ankara, but their offerings are all conducted in Turkish. Since our courses are provided only in English, this allows the clients to improve their foreign language skills while enhancing their practical understanding of a business function which they can use immediately in their jobs," continued Christiansen. Each prospective learner must have at least an Upper-Intermediate level of comprehension and speaking ability to engage in any of the courses as determined by Christiansen himself.

Christiansen has been a business lecturer in several universities in Turkey and the USA since 2003, including at Gumushane University in the northeastern part of Turkey. His international business career spans 30 years in 40 countries and he is fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish. Before establishing PryMarke, LLC, he was a Registered Financial Advisor at American Express Financial Advisors, Inc., and a Sales Representative at IBM Corporation in the USA. Christiansen is a current member of the Academy of Management in New York City, and he is a candidate for the Board of Directors of the Management Consulting Division. The election will be held on April 1 of this year.
