VIENNA, AUSTRIA, March 19, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Starting from now, companies from the automotive sector, agencies, film and multimedia producers, TV stations as well as students are invited to enter their works and compete for the prestigious OttoCar trophies.
Founded in 1993, the biennial competition has become one of the highlights of the world's largest and most important events for passenger cars, the International Motorshow (IAA) in Frankfurt. During over 20 years of existence the festival managed to position itself as one of the top festivals for films and multimedia productions in the automotive sector, with a record number of more than 300 entries in the last edition in 2013. "We were impressed by the number of entries in the last edition. The increasing number of top-quality productions proves that the demand for creativity in the automotive industry is constantly growing and from AutoVision 2015 we expect to enhance these creative challenges globally", says Alexander V. Kammel, the director of the AutoVision Festival.
The best works will be awarded with the Gold, Silver and Black OttoCar trophies. Next to that, the independent international jury will choose the OttoCar Grand Prix for Films and the OttoCar Grand Prix for Interactive & Multimedia.
The Awards Ceremony will take place on September 17th, 2015 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Participation
Entries can be made online. There are 48 categories to participate in, which are divided in eight main groups: Commercials (TV and Cinema), TV Programs, Websites, Interactive/Multimedia, Informational Films, Product Presentation Films, Production Arts & Crafts and Students. All productions aired/produced/posted online after January 1st, 2013 are eligible for entry.
Benefits for entrants
All entries submitted until April 3rd, 2015 will receive an Early Bird discount of 10%. Participants submitting more than one piece of work, or enter more than one category, benefit from a reduced rate.
