SAN MARCOS, CA, March 24, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Enrollment for Summer Term 2015 classes at California State University San Marcos begins this month, with registration for continuing students starting March 23, 2015 and open enrollment beginning March 30. Offered through CSUSM Extended Learning, summer classes give students the ability to earn credits from a mix of classroom-based, hybrid, and online programs. These accelerated summer courses earn CSUSM credit, but are also fully transferable to other academic institutions. CSUSM Summer Term courses are open to students from other accredited colleges and universities, qualified high school seniors, and members of the community, in addition to continuing CSUSM students.
With courses ranging from biology to business and math to marketing, CSUSM Summer Term offers an excellent way for college and university students to pick up additional credits while school is out of session. Courses are fully transferable to other academic institutions, and up to 24 units taken as a non-matriculated student can be counted toward a degree from CSUSM.
"We offer morning, afternoon, or evening classes, so students can earn credits while keeping up with work and family, as well as enjoying their summers," explains Mike Schroder, Dean of Extended Learning at CSUSM. "The accelerated courses offered during Summer Term are a great way for students to pick up extra credits and ensure on-time graduation."
The CSUSM Summer Term begins on June 1, 2015, and ends on August 8. The first block of courses will run from June 1 to July 2, while the second block goes from July 6 to August 8. Registration for continuing CSUSM students begins March 23 and ends March 27, 2015. Open enrollment for all non-CSUSM students begins on March 30, 2015.
