Daniel R. Majeau Recognized for Excellence in Consulting

    BROSSARD, QC, March 18, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daniel Majeau, Vice President of Operations and General Manager of Terrapex Environnement Ltee, has been named a Worldwide Branding Executive of the Year in Consulting. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only small selections of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

With 16 years of consulting experience, Mr. Majeau is highly skilled in project management, risk management, feasibility studies, health and safety. His duties in his current role of a year are numerous. He is assisting in the establishment and achievement of environmental projects and communicating with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute effective sales plans for business growth.

In addition to attaining targeted customer satisfaction and employee engagement scores, Mr. Majeau is also ensuring the efficient management of the labor market. He is contributing to the overall growth and development of the business, managing the annual operating and capital of budgets, and preparing for ongoing change of the company. Finally, he is implementing environmental and health safety compliance programs, engineering projects as much as $5 million, and supervising unionized workers and labor relations.

Mr. Majeau also has more than 28 years of experience in petroleum and petrochemical processing, including 20 years in environmental, health and safety management. He has shown proven effectiveness in achieving results by generating a common focus and building a team in a high-tech and high-volume environment. He is an effective problem-solver with an ability to motivate others. He has been recognized for his efforts, receiving an Achievement Award for RC/DC/AC Safety from the President's Council (2012).

In the future, Mr. Majeau hopes to expand his business in North America, which would be a continuation of the success that he attributes to his love for challenges, customer service skills, his education and past work experiences. He became involved in the industry while working as a professor at the College de Maisonneuve, where he taught environmental, health and safety studies. He had previously earned a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, with a minor in environmental sciences, from the Universite de Montreal in 2001.

Recently inducted into Worldwide Branding, Mr. Majeau also maintains affiliations with CSEE and the Indoor Environmental Quality Association Inc.
