Charles S. Fax Honored for 6th Consecutive Year as Super Lawyer

    BETHESDA, MD, March 19, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Charles S. Fax, partner at Rifkin, Weiner, Livingston, Levitan & Silver, LLC, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in practicing law.

Over the course of four decades practicing law, Mr. Fax has received a bevy of awards and honors including annual selection to Super Lawyers (2009-2015); being named a Top Attorney in the Washington, DC, metro area by The Washington Post (2013-2014); being named a Top Attorney in Maryland (2013); being named one of greater Washington's Legal Elite by Washington Smart CEO magazine (2006); and inclusion in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law publications. He has been rated as an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell since 1995.

Mr. Fax is best known for his work in business litigation and corporate/contractual disputes. He also represents plaintiffs in consumer class action lawsuits, serves as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Baltimore School of Law, has co-authored two well-received textbooks on civil discovery in federal and state courts, and authors a regular column on recent developments in civil procedure for the American Bar Association Section of Litigation magazine, "Litigation News."
Mr. Fax obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University before attending George Washington University (GWU) Law School, where he graduated with honors and served on the National Moot Court Team. A member of the federal and state bars in Maryland, New York, and Washington, DC, Mr. Fax is also licensed to practice law in federal circuit courts all over the country and in the United States Supreme Court.

Inspired to practice law by his grandfather, who was also a lawyer, Mr. Fax is also a passionate writer, intending to pursue more legal and non-legal writing ventures in the coming years. In his spare time, Mr. Fax serves as a national Vice President and Board Member of the Jewish National Fund, raising money for environmental projects in Israel, and speaking on college campuses throughout the country on behalf of Israel.
