Dr. Shelly Leeds-Richter was appointed to serve as president of The Woman's Hospital of Texas and was placed on the Healthgrades Honor Roll in recognition of her commitment to medical excellence.
HOUSTON, TX, March 20, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Shelly Leeds-Richter with Obstetrical and Gynecological Associates PLLC has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in women's health care.
Licensed to practice in the state of Texas, Dr. Leeds-Richter draws on more than 17 years of experience to provide top-notch care in the areas of obstetrics and gynecology for both adolescents and adults, as well as infertility care. An expert in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Leeds-Richter places particular emphasis on maintaining long-term patient relationships. She is passionate about educating patients and providing preventative care.
Dr. Leeds-Richter became interested in medicine while she was in high school because she was amazed by the body's many functions. To qualify her for her career, Dr. Leeds-Richter received an MD from the Baylor College of Medicine in 1997. She also completed an internship and residency through the same institution.
Recently inducted into Worldwide Registry, Dr. Leeds-Richter also maintains affiliation with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Inc., American Medical Association and HGOS. She was appointed to serve as president of The Woman's Hospital of Texas and was placed on the Healthgrades Honor Roll in recognition of her commitment to medical excellence. In the coming years, Dr. Leeds-Richter intends to continue to take care of her patients.
