Dr. Mallempati brings eight years of professional experience to his role with Alabama Orthopaedic Spine and Sports Medicine Associates. Dr. Mallempati completed a residency at the University of SouthWestern (UTSW) at Dallas in 2006, having earned an MD from J.J.M. Medical College in India in 1997. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and is a member of the Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Neuro Electro Diagnostic Medicine and the Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also president of the Alabama Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ASPMR). Additionally, he maintains affiliation with St. Vincent's East Hospital, St. Vincent's Birmingham Hospital, Outpatient Services East, Outpatient Care Center and Trinity Medical Center Princeton Medical Center.
