Chess Dynamics Appoints Liteye Systems as North American Licensed Sales Partner

    CENTENNIAL, CO, April 01, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chess Dynamics (www.chess-dynamics.com), a British creator of accurate pan & tilt platforms integrated with a wide range of sensors, has appointed Liteye Systems, Inc. (www.liteye.com), a provider of surveillance systems as their sales partner in North America.

The move is designed to strengthen Chess Dynamics foothold in the region and bolster sales into ground and naval military markets as well as commercial and homeland security customers. Liteye has been manufacturing and supplying products into these strategic markets in North America since 2000.

Under the terms of the agreement, Liteye will act as a sales, support, and service centre for the complete range of Chess products including their land series "Hawkeye" and naval series Sea Eagle systems, the later being an advanced electro-optical fire control system optimised for the control of naval guns, (up to 40mm) against air and surface targets. The agreement will also include some OEM products for local manufacture and assembly into finished systems.

Chess line of products includes rugged platforms for use on armoured military vehicles, naval vessels, and coastal defence projects. The long range ability of their cooled thermal sensors provides man detection at distances not obtainable by uncooled thermal products.
