Named one of the Top Attorneys in Commercial and Civil Litigation by New Jersey's Outstanding Young Lawyers, Mr. Santagata has been in practice for six years. He has focused his work on government representation, plaintiff and defense civil rights litigation, federal litigation, civil and administrative issues, landlord/tenant, labor/employment law, and appeals.
Mr. Santagata has extensive experience dealing with complex federal, commercial, and civil litigation, governments, municipalities, and civil rights actions. He has considerable appellate experience in New Jersey's Appellate Division, as well as the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. In the future, his practice will focus even more on federal litigation and the appeals that usually follow.
Mr. Santagata earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from George Washington University, his Juris Doctorate from Catholic University's Columbus School of Law, and his Master of Laws in litigation and dispute resolution from Cardozo School of Law. Recently inducted into Worldwide Registry, Mr. Santagata maintains affiliations with the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, and the Third Circuit Pro Bono Counsel List.
