George Rafael Recognized for Excellence in Management Consulting

    CALGARY, AB, April 07, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- George Rafael, President and Chief Executive Officer of Gilmore & Associates Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in management consulting.

Gilmore & Associates Inc. is a senior management consulting firm that provides consulting services. Mr. Rafael started as software programmer at the bits and bytes level, moved along to system analysis and then management. He worked for SAP Western Region as an implementation manger, and every client in this area was his client.

He has been in the industry for 47 years, and possesses an expertise in staff augmentation, IT services and management consulting. In his position for the past five years as president and CEO of Gilmore & Associates Inc., he serves as the practice unit leader for ERP practice, handles business ventures and financial management, collects a number of assets, ensures the company has qualified associates, and manages the client network and managing partners.

Prior to working for Gilmore & Associates Inc, Mr. Rafael worked for IBM Global Services. He also worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers on an international level in French West Africa on a World Bank job in Gabon, because they needed a loan from the World Bank for the implementation of a revenue royalty accounting system. He then worked in Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Thailand and Trinidad. One of the projects he worked on was helping with the first SAP implementation for provincial upgrades funded by three governments.

He attributes his success to his experience, age, and high energy, which earned him an Elite Radio Network feature and Profiles Magazine feature in 2012, both with Worldwide Branding. He likes to challenge himself, give back to others and mentor people. He became involved in his profession because back in 1967, computer science was just starting. He earned a degree in computer science and became involved in IT and his current line of work. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Computer Science Degree from Concordia University in Montreal. Professionally, he is affiliated with ISP Designation and sits on the executive board of the Canadian Information Processing Society. In five years, Mr. Rafael would like to build up capital equity in association and subsidiary to the point where a big guy will come around like IBM and will want to buy it. He also wants to build equity, and continue to assist his clients.
