"Among the many entries, Angela Harris was a standout, with impressive commitments to her profession, industry and community," said Denise Dersin, Editorial Director of Professional Builder. "Her many talents make Angela an ideal representative of homebuilding's next generation of leaders."
Dersin said that Harris would participate in Professional Builder's Under 40 Executive Summit, "New Ideas, New Directions, June 22-23 in San Diego. Professional Builder is presenting the summit in conjunction with PCBC, the largest homebuilding tradeshow representing the west coast region. See www.pcbc.com
Harris established TRIO as a solo consultancy in 1999, and today's 13-member firm generates award winning, signature looks for detached and attached production homes; upscale clubhouses; hospitality facilities and custom residences. TRIO is headquartered in Denver's Enterprise Zone, with a New York City satellite office that serves its growing roster of East Coast commissions. TRIO manages an annual average of 47-60 projects that gross several million in builder design accounts. The firm has a 100% track record of delivering on time and within budget.
Research-based, retail-based interior spaces anchor Harris' innovative approaches to her work. TRIO's grasp of brand-based research benefits homebuilder clients for all project types, price points and buyer profiles, and is well supported by the firm's progressive design/build partnership practices.
Harris' commitment to Denver's homebuilding community also impressed the "40 Under 40" jury. Working with Metro Denver's Home Building Association (HBA), she re-vitalized its Sales and Marketing Council (SMC), which has grown to more than 300 members after virtually disappearing during the housing recession.
NAHB noted the council's extraordinary turnaround by naming this chapter as its 2013 Best Sales and Marketing Council. This year, the chapter took a Gold Award in "The Nationals," a competition sponsored by NAHB's National Sales and Marketing Council to honor excellence in sales and marketing throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Harris was named Builder Partner of the Year in the 2014 Denver MAME Awards program, and has been honored as the HBA's Volunteer of the Year and Rising Star. She has also served since 2009 as a Volunteer Educator, Whiz Kids of Denver.
Angela is a founding member of HBA's Professional Women In Building chapter. She serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the HBA of Metro Denver and its Educational Task Force. She is a native of and resident of Denver. For more information visit www.trioenvironments.com.
