His discipline and precise execution of his work in the civilian sector is indicative of his time spent with the U.S. Army, where he worked in logistics for more than 23 years. A fearless leader, Mr. Bartel manages a portfolio of 27 contracts for both the government and commercial sectors supporting all facets of the Department of Defense, including the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and the Department of Justice.
In a recent interview, Mr. Bartel admits that he is proud to have moved up the ranks with Phacil as quickly as he has. But, it has not been without hard work. To support his career once he left the military, he obtained a Project Management Professional certification, a Microsoft SharePoint Technology Specialist Technician, ITILv3 and HDI certifications. He is pursuing an executive MBA through the University of Maryland to supplement the master's degree in information technology and the bachelor's degree in logistics that he already holds.
As he looks to the future, Mr. Bartel intends to continue bringing success to Phacil while working toward obtaining even more responsibility within the company.
