Envitems Launches The World's Smallest Particle Counter

    TAMPERE, FINLAND, April 16, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Envitems, a cleantech company specializing in air quality, launches a new product, the world's smallest particle counter. Envitems LPC is a cost-effective and compact solution to monitoring particle levels in ambient air. Envitems LPC weighs only 195 grams with an integrated pump.

Envitems LPC can be used to measure indicative particle levels anywhere. The product can be used for instance in air quality monitoring projects and in building automation.The opportunities with this compact and cost-effective particle counter are great and inspire to new innovations.

The Envitems particle counter is designed for measuring particles less than 2.5 and 10 micrometers in diameter. The particle counter can be effortlessly integrated as a part of a variety of systems.

Envitems LPC measures particles by analyzing the scattering of laser light caused by passing particles. The particles are measured optically and analyzed with digital signal prosessing (DSP). Basic weather data can also be included, as the product is available with temperature and humidity sensors.
