DUBLIN, IRELAND, April 16, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Millennials -also known as the Millennial Generation - are the generation that were born between 1980 to the early 2000s. These people are also sometimes referred to as the 'Next Generation' as this will be the next generation of people that will potentially go into politics, run their own businesses, start families and so on. The millennials are also the first youth generation that were affected by the great recession in the late 2000s. As a result of this many believe millennials are changing the way that we do business.

Now, Michael Carr is not only committed to growing and building his business within the Munster region, but also towards enabling other potential entrepreneurs to achieve their goals. He aims to attain this, through methods of personal mentoring and public speaking at seminars and conferences with other like-minded contacts across Ireland and the UK.
LVE Enterprises has revealed the top 5 ways millennials are different from the generations before them:
They don't believe in being shackled to tradition or location
This generation has not known a time without digital technology and they are experts in it. While farmers were shackled to their fields, industrialists were shackled to their factories and businessmen were shackled to their office cubicles, this generation is not at all limited as long as they can get a good signal and some decent Wi-Fi. Devices have become more powerful and more portable making them able to do business anywhere. The millennials are using technology to achieve efficiency for maximum impact.
They don't believe in the inherent value of face time
This isn't to say they aren't social or that they never want to meet with clients. They just don't see why people get paid for showing up unless the job requires their physical presence. Millennials believe that face time is more valuable when there's less of it and when it's reserved for really important moments. This is a consequence of technology but also of recognition that the only way to be a success is to work at maximum efficiency, which means fewer meetings, but more emails, more texts, video conferences and calls.
They believe in learning, not pieces of paper
Millennials are not concerned about the degrees they have got or the ones they haven't that might cost them a job, they are focused on what they'd need to learn in order to get it. It's not that they don't value education but they just value knowledge and experience more. Millennials believe in continual learning rather than once you graduate your education is finished.
They believe in learning from someone else's experience
This generation is all about learning from someone who has done what they want to do. They love stories of successful trailblazers, they pick the brains of more experienced people in their industry and they look to everyone from formal advisers to fictional characters as role models.
They believe in life, not work-life balance
Millennials don't want a work-life balance they want to design a life for themselves that includes their family, friends, hobbies and their business.
Michael Carr, CEO of LVE Enterprises gave the following statement, "Success, innovation and great achievements are driven by young, ambitious entrepreneurs and risk takers, we put all our eggs in one basket, chase every opportunity with wild confidence and win big. Myself and the people I work with are all driven by the same thing, our dreams, I don't want to be a product of my environment or of the generations that proceeded me, we are the masters of our own destiny, I am right now creating a legacy for myself and generations to follow me. Have fun, be inspired and love what you do, the Millennial Generation has already changed how we do business but now let's see how far we can take it."
