COLLINSVILLE, IL, April 24, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fornero Orthodontics invites their patients to bring in canned goods for a food drive from Fri., May 1 to Fri., June 12 at their place of business at 93 Crestmoor. All food collected will be taken to the Collinsville Food Pantry, run by the Collinsville Area Ministerial Association.
Patients who bring in canned goods to their appointments between May 1 and June 12 will get an extra token for each item they bring. Dr. Fornero's patients have the opportunity to earn tokens at each orthodontic appointment for things such as being on time and having good oral hygiene. The tokens are saved up and cashed in for gift cards to local businesses.
"We are pleased to host this food drive for such a worthy local cause," said Dr. Rebecca Fornero, orthodontist and owner of Fornero Orthodontics. "We decided to hold the drive for six weeks so that all of our patients will have the opportunity to bring in canned goods during their appointments. We're hoping for a great response!"
The Collinsville Area Ministerial Association was formed by a group of pastors from the Collinsville area who have worked together to improve the spiritual, moral, and physical well-being of the city for over 25 years. They operate the Helping Hands Food Pantry and offer transportation and shopping help to senior citizens and disabled adults, among other local services.
Fornero Orthodontics was established in 1993 and has been providing superior service to patients residing in Collinsville and the surrounding Metro East St. Louis Region.
