Dr. Christ Ticoras Recognized for Excellence in Dermatology

MANSFIELD, OH, April 27, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Christ J. Ticoras has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in dermatology.
Dr. Ticoras has been an expert in the field of dermatology for more than 20 years. Motivated by the challenges that come in conjunction with the field of medicine, he is recognized as one of America's Top Dermatologists according to the Consumer Research Council of America consecutively for the last eight years. Daily, Dr. Ticoras treats patients by offering a wide set of skin care services including but not limited to medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. His is a skilled and revered diagnostician, who makes every effort to care for patients as though they were members of his own family.
Prior to establishing his career, Dr. Ticoras earned a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, Summa Cum Laude with Distinction in 1987 and an MD from the Wright State University School of Medicine where he received the Dean's Award for the most Outstanding Graduate in 1991. He went on to complete an internship in internal medicine and a residency in Dermatology as well as serving as Chief Resident in his final year of training. Dr. Ticoras is professionally aligned with a number of organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Ohio Dermatological Association, the Ohio State Medical Association and the Central Ohio Dermatological Society. In addition, he has been certified and recertified by the prestigious American Board of Dermatology.
As he looks to the future, Dr. Ticoras plans to continue providing excellent care in the fields of medical and surgical dermatology as well as adding cutting edge treatment modalities for aging skin for patients seeking a more youthful appearance. Dr. Ticoras continues to be committed to the communities that he serves by participating in yearly no-cost skin cancer screening clinics, volunteering for local nonprofit organizations and serving on the Board of Trustees at The Ohio State University at Mansfield.
