Two New Restaurants Open in Koreatown, Los Angeles, California

    LOS ANGELES, CA, April 27, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Not one, but two new restaurants are now open in Koreatown, Los Angeles, California. Owner and Chef Sophia Wang has gone all in and created two new restaurants side by side in the Solair Building located at 3785 Wilshire Boulevard on the 2nd floor.

The first restaurant called Oren Shabu serves traditional Japanese Shabu Shabu with a unique flair. Unlike your typical Shabu Shabu restaurant, Oren Shabu slices their Angus Certified Ribeye right in front of their customers. If you don't eat meat, Oren also offers a seafood platter and every selection comes with eleven types of fresh vegetables along with udon noodles and chewy rice cakes. As for the broth, the customers have the choice of a chicken or vegetable broth with the option of making them spicy. Typically, there are only two dipping sauces to choose from, however, at Oren Shabu everyone receives six savory sauces. Your meal is then finished with a delicious rice porridge complimentary of the house.

For those seeking wine and tapas, Vinu Winebar is just the place. The wine list consists of about 40 different wines from all over the globe. As for the food, the menu includes various tapas style items which is updated regularly. However, some of the most popular dishes are "Get in my Belly" Pork Belly, vegetable risotto, a whole charred baby octopus with garlic confit and a chimichurri bone marrow with pickled shallots. The newest addition to Vinu is their three course of foie gras and a glass of pinot noir for $25.00.
