WASHINGTON, DC, April 29, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Generation-Next Inc. announces its first event dedicated to connecting young millennial professionals with the tools and resources they need to find and build their careers, or create their own opportunity through entrepreneurship.
On Saturday, May 2nd over 400 anticipated attendees will convene at the National Press Club for the Millennial Jobs Summit. This event will feature a hiring and startup expo that will allow attendees to connect to recruiters and entrepreneurs alike. Attendees will be able to engage with companies such as Bloomberg LP, Comcast, General Assembly and more. Also in attendance will be growing startups like RadPad, Cove, and PreneurHub that will showcase their businesses to the millennial audience.
Also, there will be a series of panels, including a Career Development Workshop teaching new-age job search skills and career development techniques, a Women in Tech Panel featuring a diverse panel of leading women in various technical fields, and an Entrepreneurial Development Panel featuring founders of some of DC's fastest growing startups teaching aspiring entrepreneurs how to make the jump into starting their own business.
