Lock, Of Counsel to Mathis, Marifian & Richter with offices in Belleville, Illinois, and Clayton, Missouri, was admitted into Worldwide Registry. After earning his JD from Creighton University, he attended Washington University where he earned a Master of Laws in Taxation in 1975. MI. Lock is a member of the Missouri State Bar Association.
For the past 37 years, Mr. Lock has limited his practice to exclusively representing taxpayers with audit, collection, and criminal tax issues. Prior to opening his office in 1978, he worked for the Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mr. Lock was honored with Martindale-Hubbell's 30th Anniversary Award and was named an AV Preeminent Attorney. He attributes his success to the numerous attorneys and accountants who have referred their clients with tax issues to him for representation before the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Justice.
