The Last Time We Were Here Announces their Campaign to Send a New Folk Rock Musical to NYC

    ATLANTA, GA, May 05, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Atlanta-based actors Jeremiah Parker Hobbs and Jessica De Maria have recently launched a KickStarter to help fund their new musical THE LAST TIME WE WERE HERE's participation in the acclaimed New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF).

After 2 very successful concert performances, a sold-out staged reading at Actor's Express, and the encouragement of their peers, they realized their show had a special kind of magic-and the team began to feel that it was ready for a wider audience.

About THE LAST TIME WE WERE HERE

Jeremiah Parker Hobbs is an actor, singer, songwriter, and musician, who was last seen in Moonlight and Magnolias, a farce, at the Legacy Theatre. Prior to that, Jeremiah appeared as "Riff Raff" in The Rocky Horror Show at Actor's Express for which he was nominated for a Suzi Bass Award. Some favorite recent roles include "Woof" in Hair (Serenbe Playhouse) and "Jesus" in Godspell (Stage Door Players). He has written countless songs, as well as a published novella, Love/Sick, available on Amazon.com. He has also worked as a sound engineer for Time Between Us (Serenbe Playhouse), as well as Jane Eyre (Legacy Theatre). Currently, he is touring in Della's Diner across the country through the Springer Opera House. He will be appearing as Roger in RENT at Actor's Express this summer.

Jessica De Maria originally hails from Setauket, NY but is an Atlanta based actress, singer and writer. Jessica most recently appeared as the Narrator in Murder Ballad at Actor's Express. Other credits include The Grimm Lives of the Inbetweens (Alliance Theatre), and Mary Poppins, Les Miserables (2013/2015), Petite Rouge: A Cajun Red Riding Hood (2012/2013), Big River in Concert (Aurora Theatre). Jessica has also appeared with Georgia Ensemble Theatre, Synchronicity Theatre and Pinch N' Ouch Theatre. Jessica is currently appearing in Damn Yankees at the Atlanta Lyric Theatre. She will be appearing as Helena in DROOD at Stage Door Players this summer.
