William C. Stalions Honored for Excellence in Wills and Trusts Law

    DAVIE, FL, May 05, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William C. Stalions, Attorney of the Law Office of William C. Stalions, P.A., has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in wills and trust litigation.

Mr. Stalions brings 33 years of legal experience to his role as an attorney of the Law Office of William C. Stalions, P .A. Throughout the years, he has accumulated a vast amount of experience in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He has served as an adjunct professor of law at Nova Southeastern University, worked as an associate attorney and partner of several law firms in South Florida, and held the role of vice president of development for Applied Business Concepts, Inc. dba Turnaround Ministries in Gainesville, Ga. Additionally, Mr. Stalions served as the manager of planned giving and foundations for Crown Financial Ministries, Inc., and as the CFO of Sheridan House, Inc. He returned to private practice in 2010, where he has remained since.

In his current role, Mr. Stalions utilizes his skills in business organization to manage the practice, while focusing primarily on wills and trusts law, two areas in which he also offers consulting services. Having initially pursued a career in law because the diversity appealed to him, it is no surprise that Mr. Stalions would like to change his focus in the years to come. Although he intends to continue operating his practice on a part-time basis, he aims to transition into financial planning.

Mr. Stalions earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in 1976, which he followed with a JD, completed at Nova Southeastern University in 1982. His career in law has earned him such distinctions as A V Preeminent attorney, which was awarded to him by Martindale-Hubbell. He is also in good standing with The Florida Bar. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Stalions volunteers with local charitable organizations, and is affiliated with Sheridan House Family Ministries, a ministry outreach for children and families.
