"We want every dealer to think of BHS as a partner," said Mr. Bierman. "We've always provided much more than basic technical information on our products, and that's important in our industry."
ST. LOUIS, MO, May 20, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Battery Handling Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of material handling and battery changing equipment, announced that Matt Bierman will assume the role of the Dealer Developer Manager position immediately.
As the Dealer Development Manager, Mr. Bierman will oversee relationships with all BHS dealers, traveling throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada. He will also provide dealers with instruction on the BHS web store, provide on-site and web-based training for sales staff, and oversee the monthly Sales Academy dealer training program at BHS' St. Louis headquarters.
"We want every dealer to think of BHS as a partner," said Mr. Bierman. "We've always provided much more than basic technical information on our products, and that's important in our industry. We offer extensive training and personalized assistance, and our dealers become BHS experts. They understand how our engineering sets our products apart from the competition."
Prior to his role as Dealer Developer Manager, Mr. Bierman was an Inside Sales Account Manager at BHS. He was the direct sales contact for clients in the Western region, which encompasses portions of the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
"Matt is really digging into his new position, and his experience as an Inside Sales Account Manager allowed for a quick transition," said Julia Yank, BHS Sales Manager. "He's seen how our dealers operate and brought back a lot of valuable information, which we've used to improve our approach to our partners. We look forward to his contributions in his new role."
Bierman will reach out to dealers to set up on-site training and webinars, which will focus on the features of BHS battery handling equipment, fleet tracking software, and the company's new line of warehouse products. He will also guide his contacts through quarterly and annual statements, market-potential analytics, and other reports provided as a part of the BHS dealer development program.
"Every day, we're reaching out to our dealers and their sales teams," said Bierman. "BHS has a strong reputation in the material handling industry, and I'm excited to find new ways to build the partner program."
