LOS ANGELES, CA, May 07, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Canadian actor and writer Adam Tsekhman will star on the CBS juggernaut, NCIS and the Fox hit, Bones. On NCIS, Tsekhman will guest star as Egyptian Intelligence Officer Omar Hassan. While on Bones, Tsekhman will inhabit the role of Johnny LaQuatra, an underground poker player who goes by the pseudonym "Mustache".
"I am extremely grateful to work on both of these outstanding shows. It's a joy and a challenge to play two characters who are so completely different from one another," exclaimed Tsekhman.
Tsekhman also plays the lead role in Tsili, a Holocaust themed feature directed by Israeli auteur Amos Gitai. The film debuted last year at the Venice Film Festival and opened in cinemas this week across Europe. Later this year, Tsekhman will be seen in the comedy feature Let's Rap, starring Jason Preistley. Tsekhman has also co-written two comedy pilots, Americanistan and Comrades, which are in development and will premiere later in 2015. Tsekhman's previous television credits include, How I Met Your Mother (CBS), You're the Worst (FX), The Mentalist (CBS), Rizzoli and Isles (TNT), NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS) and 24 (Fox), among others.
Adam Tsekhman is a native of Winnipeg, Canada. Tsekhman obtained an undergraduate finance degree from the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He then changed course and decided to pursue acting. He also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Acting from Columbia University in New York City. NCIS will air May 5th and Bones is available on demand.
